It had to be Sandra! Chatterbox in school who was always in the Principal's Office. She was told she needed to channel her disruptive energy into something positive. Imagine that? And it's still going on today in homes and schools.
Winners Toastmasters welcomes chatterboxes any day and thank God, there is no Principal's office. We have a Sarge at Arms but don't let that frighten you. It's not as bad as it sounds.
Here's the whammie....on Sandra's first attempt at a speaking competition in Barbados; yes, she traveled out of her island of Trinidad and Tobago to do what? Chat! And won the competition.. whoop whoop!
That can be you too.
While Sandra is special to us at Winners Toastmasters, she really is just like you and me so if she can, you can too.
